Askthescholars.com was established in June 2019 by Shaykh Mustafa Umar. He felt that the Muslim community needed a more advanced question and answer database since this is a common way people acquire knowledge. The website not only deals with classical issues but contemporary ones and offers advice in addition to mere legal verdicts. The website allows people to ask questions about Islam and posts comprehensive answers by a trained Islamic scholar or group of scholars that can be viewed through the archives on the website.
