Food, Clothes & Blood Drives
As part of the Community Assistance Program (CAP) here at ICOI, our goal is to provide an environment for our youth to learn a life of serving others as was in the Sunnah of the Prophet (S). Motivating our children at a young age will help shape them into selfless, loving, and empathetic leaders of tomorrow. This will only be successful if the community shares the same vision and passion. Our mission is to make the projects simple, rewarding, and fun to help steer them into living a life of service. As the Hadith of the Beloved Prophet (S) says, Allah (swt) helps those who help others.
Community events, such as food and clothing drives, will be held quarterly and will continue with smaller projects in between. Events will be designed to involve all ages from kindergartners to young adults with roles that will be age appropriate and engaging.

On the authority of Abu Huraira (may Allah be pleased with him) from the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) who said, ” Whoever relieves a believer’s distress of the distressful aspects of this world, Allah will rescue him from a difficulty of the difficulties of the Hereafter. Whoever alleviates [the situation of] one in dire straits who cannot repay his debt, Allah will alleviate his lot in both this world and in the Hereafter. Whoever conceals [the faults of] a Muslim, Allah will conceal [his faults] in this life and the Hereafter. Allah is helping the servant as long as the servant is helping his brother…” (Recorded in Muslim)
