Professional Counseling Services: Counseling offers an opportunity to work with a trained professional to explore areas of life that may not be working as well as you would like. Through the counseling process you gain insights into yourself and your world. One critical aspect of counseling is recognizing strengths you already possess, nurturing those, and using them as tools for effecting change in your life. A therapist does not provide you with specific answers or solutions but rather grants you a safe haven where you voice your concerns and issues and in the process empowers you to find your own solutions. If you are feeling stuck and is unsure on how to proceed, then counseling is for you.

Outreach Programs
Family Nights
ICOI holds monthly Family Nights programs to gather the community in a relaxed atmosphere, have dinner and to address issues of community interest. Guest speakers are invited and the community participates in the ensuing discussions. The following Family Nights themes were held thus far: "Towards a better future", "The Ummah - A global fraternity", "Old lessons for the new year", "Parent-Youth relations."

At icoi.net we provide information about our activities, articles of interest on Islam, Muslims, on relevant and contemporary issues, exposition of Qur'anic themes, synopses of our Friday sermons as well as responses to pertinant questions.
Recreational Programs
ICOI assisted in arranging a successful picnic for the community in conjuction with MSA-IVC as well as with New Horizon School. These are to become regular features. ICOI's 'Eid breakfast' was a tremendous success. We intend holding outdoor classes in a picnic atmosphere during summer and instituting a weekly get together for elders in our community. Youth from Irvine and surrounding areas gather for Friday afternoon soccer at the UCI sports ground. Please stay tuned for more information.
Community Services
Besides offering the 5 Daily Prayers, Friday Jumu'ah services, Counseling services, conducting Marriages, Funeral prayers, assisting students with Research papers and Representing the Muslim community in intra-faith and inter-faith activities;

Seniors Forum
Saturdays 11am - 1pm
The senior group meets weekly to discuss matters that pertain to the more mature members of the community. The forum includes a lesson about health issues, a short video, exercise and light refreshments. Please sign up in the office.
English Classes
Tuesdays 6:30pm -8:30pm
English classes at ICOI conducted free of charge by specialized teachers from the South Coast Literacy Council.
Youth Group
Fridays 7pm - 9pm
