Reem Salahi is a
lawyer and Bridge Fellowship recipient for the National Security and
Immigrants’ Rights Project at the American Civil Liberties Union (ACLU)
of Southern California.
Reem traveled with the National Lawyers
Guild delegation to Gaza to assess the legal effects of the recent
attacks on the Palestinian people of Gaza and determine what violations
of international humanitarian law occurred.
Reem will share
photographs and video footage of interviews with the people of Gaza.

Reem
will also be sharing her experience of traveling to the UAE to visit
Br. Naji Hamdan, a member of the Southern California Muslim community
who has been detained, tortured and is awaiting trial before the UAE
Supreme Court on false charges procured under torture.
